Mandi is never happier than when she has her camera in hand, poised and ready to shoot! So, even in her spare time, she is rarely seen without her camera.

Over the past 3 years she has taken the opportunity to follow her brother, Mark Hughes, as he competes around the motorcycle club race circuits. Capturing the thrills and spills of motor racing has required a completely different approach to her portrait and wedding photography, yet Mandi combines the action shots with details which together tell the story of the day.

There are many things close to Mandi's heart - all of which she photographs. Her family are rarely out of range of her camera - her children especially, are a constant source of ever changing imagery. She is mad about VW Beetles, which she finds are ideal for her more experimental photography. As Mandi's background lies in Fine Art, she enjoys developing her images using Photoshop to create an artistic feel.
